JYJ′s Kim Jae Joong to Hold Solo Fanmeeting in Taiwan
JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong will be holding a solo fanmeeting in Taiwan on May 23.
The fanmeeting follows his last held in Shanghai in December 2011. According to C-JeS Entertainment, the 2012 Kim Jae Joong Fanmeeting in Taipei will be held to repay his fans for the great popularity of his drama Protect the Boss.
A local promoter said on the issue, “Protect the Boss, which stars Kim Jae Joong, aired on Taiwan’s GTV last year, and it’s so popular in Taiwan that an arrangement for another broadcast is being considered. This is because Kim Jae Joong boasts overwhelming popularity in Greater China, and the official number of members for his online fanclub even amount to more than 100,000 people.”
On China’s popular portal site Baidu, Protect the Boss yields more than 200 links, and another portal Sogou yields 280,000.
Kim Jae Joong plans to talk about what happened behind the scenes of the drama and how he’s doing these days, play games and talk with his Chinese fans and perform I’ll Protect You from the OST of Protect the Boss, which he wrote the lyrics for.
Specific information on ticket sales for the fanmeeting, which will be held in a 2,500 size venue, will soon be posted on Kim Jae Joong’s webpage and Taiwanese ticket site.
