Billboard Spotlights 2NE1’s Comeback with ‘Come Back Home’
Billboard shed its spotlight on 2NE1’s second full length album.
Billboard wrote on March 3, ‘After spending 2013 experimenting with different images and sounds -- from the sunny, reggae pop of "Falling in Love" to the sparse, piano ballad "Missing You" -- 2NE1′s new album "Crush" feels like a return to the group′s roots.’
The article also added, “The 10-track LP comes with hard-hitting, electro-pop/hip-hop tracks that recall some of 2NE1′s past singles while refreshing the formula with new sounds and influences.”
The report also introduced and went into details about 2NE1’s music videos for Come Back Home and Happy, giving a positive review for both videos.
It also pointed out CL’s solo song, writing, ‘Come Back Home" -- along with album standout "MTBD," a solo by 2NE1 leader CL -- feel like the type of tracks Rihanna or Nicki Minaj would make if they were a little more open minded to genre fusion.’
Meanwhile, after finishing up the Seoul concert on March 1 and 2, 2NE1 will be promoting its new songs on broadcast beginning with SBS’s Inkigayo on March 9.
