JYJ Park Yoo Chun Continues Filming Despite Shoulder Injury
Deeply dedicated to his new drama, Three Days, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun has decided to continue filming despite receiving a shoulder injury recently.
On February 20, Newsen spoke with C-JeS Entertainment, who stated, “Park Yoo Chun felt pain in his shoulder while filming SBS’ Three Days. He went to the hospital and received a MRI.”
“The MRI results showed that there was a problem with his shoulder ligament. He needs about three months of rest, but with the first episode broadcast ahead of him, he decided to continue filming as he can’t fix his schedule around. To make sure his injury isn’t strained, he’s wearing his sling whenever he’s not filming. As for rest, we think it’ll be possible after the drama’s end.”
Park Yoo Chun will be playing the president’s body guard, Han Tae Kyung in Three Days. To be perfect for the role he has trained with body guards for several months. The effort put into his role seems to a factor in why Park Yoo Chun wants to continue filming.
Meanwhile, Three Days was written by Kim Eun Hee, who wrote for Sign and Ghost. It will be directed by Shin Kyung Soo, who led Deep-Rooted Tree. The drama will be starred by Park Yoo Chun, Son Hyun Ju, Park Ha Sun, Yoon Je Moon, So Yi Hyun, Jang Hyun Sung, Choi Won Young, and more.
