Just as Chun Song Yi said good bye in SBS’ You Who Came From the Stars, Korea bid farewell to Kim Yuna in her last Olympic program of her career.

Past 3AM (KST), Kim Yuna skated in her last free skate program at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Despite a clean cut program, the previous gold medalist placed second behind Russia’s Adelina Sotnikova.

Knowing her retirement will soon come, Korean netizens, who woke up early morning to watch her program, sent warm farewells to the Korean skater by writing ‘Adios′ and ‘Yuna, Thank you’ on SNS.

Despite the early hours of the morning, people in Korea woke up to witness Kim Yuna’s last Olympic event, bringing in ratings of 10.7 percent for SBS, 7.4 for MBC, and 5.6 for KBS. ,
