2PM’s Chansung Frustrated Over Personal Information Leakage of Credit Card Companies
Over the weekend, major credit card companies in Korea experienced a leakage of personal information belonging to its customers, which included 2PM’s Chansung.
Finding out about the issue, Chansung tweeted on January 19, “I don’t understand what they want us to do… It’s a relief in the middle of a misfortune, but now who am I going to believe when financial corporations are being cleaned out.”
Chansung attached a photo of a statement received from the card company that his name, cell phone number, work number, home number, social security number, and home address have been leaked.
Jaurim’s Kim Yun Ah, another victim, tweeted, “How is it that a card company that I canceled with six years ago still manages to leak my personal information?”
On January 17, prosecutors found out that an employee of the Korea Credit Bureau leaked the personal information of 100,000,000 people, who use Lotte Card, KB Card, and NH Card,
