LeeSsang’s Gary Didn’t Make His Songs to Suit Broadcast Standards

On January 16, Newsen spoke with LeeSsang Company, whose rep stated, “You’d know if you listened to the album, but if we were worried about things like being unfit for broadcast, we wouldn’t have made it that way.”

On January 15, Gary released his solo album Mr. Gae. His title song, Shower Later is about a couple in bed, told straightforwardly. The music video also included female models wearing revealing outfits, who interacted with Gary in a suggestive matter.

The music video was given a 19+ rating and deemed unfit for SBS, making both the song and the music video unable to broadcast on television. About this, Gary’s agency stated that it has no plans to try to change the results.
