Leeteuk’s Father′s Love for Super Junior’s Fans
With the news of Super Junior′s Leeteuk′s father and grandparents deaths, the fans have been expressing their grievances and sorrow.
Leeteuk’s father was especially warm towards his son′s fans.
When the fans asked how they should address him, Leetuek’s father had answered, “You can call me father, dad or mister, it doesn’t matter. To be honest, I wish that all of you were my daughters or daughter-in-laws, but am sad that that cannot be the case.”
He also said, “Thank you for sending in presents, but I feel very bad for accepting them. Your heart is enough, so please just show your warm hearts through words of kindness instead of gifts.”
He had also comforted the fans when Super Junior was criticized by its anti-fans.
“We feel strong and supported because of you all. No human can be perfect in the world, only God can be. Humans are imperfect beings, so we make mistakes. There are those who feel bad about others’ mistakes, and those who clap for them. Don’t point your fingers at those who clap though, because that could help Super Junior members to work harder to improve themselves.”
Fans have been expressing their sadness by visiting Leeteuk’s father’s Cyworld homepage (a Korean social networking site) and leaving their words of condolences.
Meanwhile, Leeteuk was informed of his father and grandparents’ death on the evening of January 6.
