Super Junior’s Shindong opened up about Tak Jae Hoon, the former MC of The Beatles Code who left the show due to his involvement with illegal gambling.

During the press conference for Mnet’s The Beatles Code 3D, which took place on December 18 in Sangam-dong, Shindong said, “I think no matter what I say, it might come off as strange,” when he mentioned Tak Jae Hoon.

“Actually I couldn’t get in touch with him since the incident. I don’t know what to do. I still wonder if I should even try to get in contact with him,” said Shindong. “I thought when I was filming, ‘I am still in my spot, doing the show, but I wonder if he’s watching.′”

Upon hearing Shindong, Shin Dong Yeop gave his piece of advice saying, “As a person who has gone through a tough situation before, in a time like this, it’s best to just give him space and not get in contact. I didn’t really appreciate the calls that were intended to cheer me up at the time.”

The first episode of The Beatles Code 3D will air on December 24.
