FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi Begins Filming ‘Hundred Year Bride’
Casted as the main lead, FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi started filming his upcoming drama, Hundred Year Bride.
Set to air in February of 2014, TV Chosun’s Hundred Year Bride kicked off its first shoot in Namhae on December 9, beginning its five months of filming.
Hundred Year Bride is a fantasy melo drama about a curse that has followed the conglomerate’s family for hundred years that the first bride of the eldest son will always die. The drama attracted attention as Lee Hong Gi has been cast as the main lead.
Also cast in the drama are new generation actors, Yang Jin Sung, Sung Hyuk, Jang Ah Young, and Kang Pil Sun, as well as veterans, Kim Seora, Shin Eun Jung, Lim Byung Ki, and Kwon Eun Ah.
Aura Media, in charge of the drama production, stated, “As this is a drama that we’ve been planning with our hearts poured into it, we have huge expectations. We’re thankful that China, Japan, and other countries are already interested in purchasing the production.”
“We’re expecting to release 20 episodes,” said the company. “We’re very satisfied with the cast and we’ll work hard to repay all the interest with a good drama.”
Meanwhile, Hundred Year Bride will air in February.
