The anguish continues on with more tears and dramatic moments, but there′s a silver lining in episode 18 of SBS′ The Heirs.

With so many good moments, it was unexplainably difficult to choose our top 10 moments, but we somehow did it.

Kim Tan: Hyung. When do I go to America?
I feel like dying.
Can’t you just send me away?
Please let me live.

Heart. Aching. Right. Now.

Kim Won: Did Tan fight with you?

Choi Young Do: More like he got one-sidedly hit by me.
I hit him because he deserved it, but if you want, you can sue me.

Kim Won: Why did you hit my little brother?

Choi Young Do: Ha. I know I shouldn′t hit kids with brothers, but I forgot Tan had a big brother because he doesn′t show it much.

Kim Won: It looks like Tan doesn′t have a brother....or a friend.

Park Hee Nam: Classmate? Are you close with Eun Sang?

Choi Young Do: I like her.

And that moment Young Do chokes up because he’s eating a home cooked dinner. *endless sobbing*

Kim Tan: Why did you look for me?

Cha Eun Sang: Don’t talk to me.
Don’t come near.
Stop it.

Kim Tan: Cha Eun Sang.
I don’t think I can let you go.

Kim Won: If I was like Tan, would we not be like this?

Jeon Hyun Joo: What is Tan like?

Kim Won: He’s become violent and hitting everything in sight.
He’s cracking and breaking. A complete mess.

Jeon Hyun Joo: You can’t be like that.

Kim Won: Why?

Jeon Hyun Joo: Because you are dreaming of reaching the highest place.
But for Tan, he dreams that Eun Sang will become his world.
I won’t bother you. I’ll wave you off. So you keep going up.

Kim Won: I’m on my way up.
Just wait a little more.

Kim Won: If it’s hard to decide, it’s better to think about tomorrow than the bigger picture.
Think about what you want to do immediately tomorrow, and the answer might be different.

If you need an excuse to go back to Tan, then how about your final exams?
When you don’t have courage, it’s also a method to lean on small excuses.

Wise words from a brother.

Cha Eun Sang: Hi Kim Tan.

And she’s back. Just like that. #youhadmeathello

Choi Young Do: Thanks for the food.
Good-bye.
I’m dumping you right now.

Cha Eun Sang: So we can’t even be friends?

Choi Young Do: I told you before. I don’t do things like that.
From the very beginning, you were a girl to me.
And even now, you’re still a girl.
From now on, my first love.

Choi Young Do, why do you do this to our hearts?

Choi Young Do’s Mother: Are you doing well, Young Do?
Choi Young Do: No. I think I’ve been living my life wrong.

When history repeated itself and Choi Young Do falls into guilt again.

Kim Tan: Are you nervous?
Cha Eun Sang: A little?
Kim Tan: It might be a little hard, but despite all that, go straight.

And here we go!
