On the upcoming April 8 episode of K-Pop Star, the top 5 contestants comprised of Lee Seung Hoon, Lee Michelle, Lee Ha Yi, Baek A Yeon and Park Ji Min will stand on stage after receiving training from SM, YG and JYP. Among the contestants, the YG Entertainment-cast, Park Ji Min was revealed to have met with 2NE1’s Park Bom. Park Bom met with Park Ji Min to offer her encouragement and a few goodies. The gifts included high-quality bamboo salts for her vocal cords, an action figure in the likeness of Park Ji Min, pear juice and more.

In addition, Park Bom offered her support and encouragement for the young Park Ji Min. The sight of her favorite singer, Park Bom, proved too much for Park Ji Min as she began shedding tears to the surprise of the production crew.

Fellow contestant, Baek A Yeon, also was revealed to be performing Girls’ Generation’s (SNSD) Run Devil Run for the April 6 episode. She received training from SNSD′s Sunny who told an anxious Baek A Yeon, “Don’t hide your anxiousness but accept it. [On stage] do everything you want to do.”

Baek A Yeon even held a video conference call with the Run Devil Run composer, Kalle Engstrom for advice on her upcoming stage.

A member of the K-Pop Star crew said, “We are raising the morale of the top five contestants through the aid of SM, YG and JYP. Even our crew is surprised at the growth of the contestants every day. We ask that [viewers] be in anticipation for the top five contestants and offer their support.”

The next episode of K-Pop Star will air on April 8.
