2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) captured the hearts of many in China.

2013 MAMA, which took place on November 22 at the AsiaWorld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong, was broadcasted live on Chinese streaming sites.

2013 MAMA Sets Record in China for Highest Live Streaming Rate

Youku Tudou has reported that over 16 million watched 2013 MAMA live through the website, breaking all past records for hit videos, including K-pop concerts and even China’s biggest New Year’s show.

A rep from Youku Tudou stated, “2013 MAMA broke the records of all live broadcasts in China, setting the highest live streaming rate so far. Many viewers also expressed their interest by leaving tens of thousands of comments.”

It has been reported that some of the most popular stages in China were those of Big Bang, EXO and Trouble Maker
