Choi Kang Hee to Vacation at BIFF
Choi Kang Hee, who is currently starring as the female lead in SBS’s drama Protect the Boss, will be going to Busan for a brief vacation, and will attend the the 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), which will start on October 6.
A rep from Choi Kang Hee’s agency, Key East, stated, “Choi Kang Hee loves movies, and she has been visiting the BIFF every year. Last year she stood on its red carpet with Lee Sun Kyun for her film Petty Romance. She doesn’t have any entries this year, but because she likes films and people, she plans to visit Busan on vacation without her manager.”
Because Protect the Boss will be airing its last episode on October 6, Choi will be able to visit Busan with a free conscience. The rep added, “Because she’s so easy-going, she wanders around alone quite a lot. If you go to Busan, you may be able to meet Choi Kang Hee walking around Haeundae in a hooded shirt and jeans.”
Choi Kang Hee has again affirmed her title as the ‘queen of romantic comedy’ this year, as the quirky actress is receiving great love for her role as the unusual secretary No Eun Sul on Protect the Boss.
The rep stated that “Choi Kang Hee will decide on her next piece after resting in Busan,” and predicted that “next year she will show her best in a film, also.”
