Big Bang’s Taeyang to Make His Way to San Francisco
Big Bang’s Taeyang will be making his way to San Francisco to hold a solo performance in America.
Taeyang was asked to perform for Music Experiment 2.0 (ME 2.0) hosted by MTV IGGY and Intel. The singer will meet with his fans in the States by holding a solo performance at San Francisco BIMBO’s 365 Club on November 26.
Taeyang had previously performed in New Jersey and L.A as part of the Big Bang World Tour, but this will be his first time going on stage along without the other members of the group.
ME 2.0 is the second series of Music Experiment hosted by Intel in 2012.
The other artists invited to perform for the event include Australian electronic group, Empire of the Sun, England’s electronic duo, Disclosure, and the winner of the 2011 Grammy Award’s Album of the Year, Arcade Fire.
Taeyang earned the honor of going shoulder to shoulder with these world-renowned artists and will take the final stage of ME 2.0 in San Francisco.
In an interview with ME 2.0, Taeyang said, “I put a lot of time and effort into this album. It holds tracks that I truly enjoy and have always wanted to do as an artist, so I’m confident it’s going in the right direction.”
When asked what made Big Bang so successful as a group, Taeyang answered, “When we are together, it creates a synergy effect, and we explode with energy. I think when we perform together on stage, the audience can feel the energy.”
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment’s hit producer CHOICE 37, who produced Big Bang’s Bad Boy and G-Dragon’s One of a Kind, will also attend the event in San Francisco.
