Lee Su Geun, Tak Jae Hoon, Tony An to Have First Trial on December 6
After spending hundreds of millions of won on illegal gambling, Lee Su Geun, Tak Jae Hoon, and Tony An will head to court on December 6.
According to the court of law on November 18, Lee Su Geun, Tak Jae Hoon, and Tony An will start their trials on December 6 at the Seoul Central District Court.
The three stars, and several others, were caught betting on English Professional Soccer Games in 2009. Tony An put down 400 million won, Lee Su Geun 370 million won, and Tak Jae Hoon 290 million won.
Lee Su Geun and Tak Jae Hoon were in the same soccer club with comedian Kim Yong Man, who was prosecuted for illegal gambling earlier in the year. Kim Yong Man was sentenced to prison for eight months with two years of probation. He has to serve 120 hours of community service.
Tony An, Shinhwa’s Andy, Boom, and Yang Se Hyung began betting during their vacation days while serving in the military at the time. A few of them continued after being discharged.
Andy, Boom, and Yang Se Hyung respectively bet 44,000,000 won, 33,000,000, and 25,000,000 won. They will most likely be fined.
The stars have all exited out of programs and are being edited out on pre-recorded shows.
