VIXX Teaser for ‘Voodoo Doll’ Causes Controversy for 19+ Version
The newly released teaser for VIXX’s new song Voodoo Doll is bringing about a controversial reaction, thanks to its graphic images.
VIXX released two versions of teaser for its upcoming song Voodoo Doll on November 15, with the first version showing the members pulling off charismatic dance moves in suits.
However, the second teaser, rated-R for its gory images, has been raising voices of concern and shock as it goes overboard with its horror-movie like cuts showing a knife cutting through bare skin, a hooked-up body part and brain being cut through.
The music video goes along with the song title Voodoo Doll showing its dark and grotesque concept through graphic images.
Shocked by the teaser, netizens have been commenting, “This teaser is bound to cause controversy,” “Only VIXX can pull off a concept like this,” “VIXX has gone over and beyond the boundary set for idols” and “This is like scenes from a horror-movie.”
The group will put on its first performance of Voodoo Doll at ‘VIXX 2013 Global Showcase- THE MILKY WAY FINALE in SEOUL’ on November 17, before the official release of the song.
