[2013 MAMA] D-9: EXO Inches Ahead of G-Dragon for Song of the Year
While EXO has been lagging behind in other categories, the idol group continues to lead in the polls for Song of the Year at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
As of November 13, EXO is in the lead for the BC-UnionPay Song of the Year award with 23.8 percent of votes. However, G-Dragon is following closely behind with 22.8 percent of votes, and the slightest push could bump the idol star into first place come show time.
SHINee, who is also up for the award, could also change the game, as it is closing in on its competition at third place with 21.9 percent of votes.
With a one percent difference between the top three nominees and just nine days left until the ceremony, the Song of the Year award is for anyone to take home.
Meanwhile, SNSD and 2NE1’s CL have each garnered 7.1 percent and 2.6 percent of votes, respectively.
BC-UnionPay Song of the Year award is one among 18 categories open to online voters, so be sure to vote before the polls close on November 21.
