MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Rainbow’s Koh Woo Ri will be joining the cast of the KBS sitcom, We Need a Fairy.

Lee, who has recently gained popularity for his comic turns on various television variety programs, was confirmed to join the currently on-going KBS sitcom.

Lee’s character in the sitcom will be a reflection of himself, complete with identical names, personalities and nearly everything else.

According to a production member, “We put in Lee Joon’s real life-self into the character.”

Expounding on Lee’s character, it was revealed his character will have many scenes with Hwang Woo Seul Hye′s character, Chae Hwa, who he has a one-sided crush on. His character will also be the sole one to believe that Chae Hwa is a fairy.

The production member added, “On variety shows, Lee Joon has displayed his comedic fourth-dimensional character as an idol but he has potential as an actor as well. To give our sitcom some fresh energy, we decided to cast Lee Joon.”
