With people still discussing an issue from almost 14 years ago, Kan Mi Youn talked about her past dating scandal with H.O.T’s Moon Hee Jun and the negative effects that followed.

Kan Mi Youn talked about receiving death threats from fans with pictures of her eyes gouged out and letters filled with box cutter blades. The issue even made it on the 9 O’clock news at one point.

“There were some people who put in rusty knife blades in envelopes in a way that when you opened it up, you would get hurt. They even sent me boxed sets of these blades. I guess they wanted me to use it? We ended up using that in the office,” said Kan Mi Youn.

“And then there was someone who wrote a letter in blood saying, ‘Let’s go to hell together. I’ll go with you so you won’t be lonely.’”

Shim Eun Jin, who was also part of Baby V.O.X at the time, chirped up, talking about how some people actually attacked her physically.

“They meant to hurt Mi Youn, but Mi Youn never got hurt. Instead the members around her always did,” said Shim Eun Jin, referring to the raw eggs being thrown at the group or the fans pulling the hair of managers.

“If they threw rocks or something, the other members always got hit, so I was so sorry afterwards,” said Mi Youn.

Shim Eun Jin later added that Baby V.O.X’s male fans often times protected the group from the H.O.T fans.
