The group Brown Eyed Girls is coming back to reclaim its throne as one of the most successful girl groups in K-Pop. It’s been two years and two months since the girls released their last album, and in order to fully show off the products of their hard work, they’ll be making their comeback with a fittingly special performance.

The group return through MBC’s Show! Music Core on September 24, and SBS’s Inkigayo on September 25. The group’s comeback is garnering even more interest, as, according to director Kang Jong Wan, of Brown Eyed Girls’ agency, Nega Network, the girls received a special time slot of six minutes per show.

Leeteuk is soldiering on at the moment, but the Super Junior leader made sure to leave his mark in the K-Pop world before taking off for the army in October 2012.

The usual time given to singers on music shows is about three minutes. In the case of comeback stages, singers are sometimes given the opportunity to put on an extended performance, but that preferential treatment is usually given to singers making a comeback for the very first time, and even then, usually only one show will bestow such an opportunity.

Brown Eyed Girls will be performing its first single Sixth Sense as well as Hot Shot from its fourth album, and it’s likely that the reason why BEG is receiving such special treatment is because the group is coming back for the first time after sweeping the nation in 2009 with its third album, Abracadabra.

Director Kang Jong Wan added, “They are working hard to deliver a perfected stage which lives up to the special treatment they have received.”

Brown Eyed Girls will be releasing its fourth album on September 23.

Known for his workaholic ways, Leeteuk wore many hats in 2012, from Super Junior’s leader and variety show MC to actress Kang Sora’s husband. But if anyone can be sexy, free and single and a star husband to one lucky leading lady at the same time in one year, it’s Leeteuk.

From leading Super Junior to the top of the music charts with Sexy, Free & Single to helming big name variety shows like Strong Heart and Star King, Leeteuk was at the top of his game in the K-Pop and variety worlds.

How he found time to get ripped, we’ll never know, but we don’t question what we see. Superheroes have their ways, we guess.
