If the wrapper was from a strawberry ice cream, how did it contain a bean flavored ice cream inside? The Rooftop Prince’s recent ice cream blooper was discovered thanks to the keen eyes of its viewers.

In the March 28 broadcast of SBS drama Rooftop Prince (directed by Shin Yoon Seob, written by Lee Hee Myeong), viewers were able to witness Lee Gak’s (Park Yoo Chun) sweet date with Park Ha (Han Ji Min).

In the third episode, Park Ha took Lee Gak to the countryside to help her pick strawberries from a farm offering a half-price discount for the opening of her fruits and vegetable store.

Unfortunately for Park Ha, Lee Gak proved to be less than helpful even with her threats to evict him from the rooftop room, as he just stood back and watched her picked the strawberries on her own.

In the end, Lee Gak left Park Ha alone in the strawberry field and went to check out the town. There, he came upon a senior center and helped them by writing Chinese characters on a sign. The impressed seniors rewarded Lee Gak with two strawberry ice cream and he soon went back to find Park Ha.

When he returned to the green house, Lee Gak offered the other ice cream to Park Ha. However, angered by Lee Gak’s relaxed state of mind, Park Ha quickly batted away the ice cream and, in the process, revealed the ‘ice cream blooper’.

Although the ice cream that Lee Gak was enjoying was, without a doubt, a bean-flavored ice cream, the ice cream wrapper that was captured on screen earlier had a ‘strawberry flavored ice cream’ sticker attached to it.

Netizens who had seen the clip commented saying, “As long as Lee Gak found it delicious, that’s all that matters,” and “He gobbled it up without knowing if it was a bean-flavored or strawberry-flavored ice cream,” and “If they wanted a strawberry ice cream, they should have used a real strawberry ice cream instead of using a Bibibik (a popular bean-flavored ice cream).”

Netizens are famous for catching on to bloopers in JYJ dramas, as they′re constantly staring and absorbing every little thing the JYJ members do - so it′s no surprise that netizens caught onto this small error as well!

Meanwhile, the third episode of Rooftop Prince recorded a viewership rating of 11.2 percent (according to the AGB Nielsen Media Research), which was a 0.7 percent increase from last week’s 10.5 percent rating.
