Big Bang’s T.O.P Pulls You In with His Charisma
Making us lose our breath at the sight of such beauty, Big Bang’s T.O.P posed for fashion magazine, W.
On October 18, W magazine released photos of T.O.P, who awaits the premiere of his upcoming movie, The Commitment. In the photo shoot, he overflowed with charisma and sadness mixed into one as he became his character of Rie Myung Hoon, who lives with an unfortunate fate.
Going with a natural concept instead of an over-the-top one, T.O.P sat down and talked about his thoughts on being an actor.
When asked about why he chose The Commitment, he replied, “I was attracted to the tendencies of the people and the movie, and the fact that it wasn’t an obvious character to act.”
“I especially like Robert De Niro’s acting in the movie Taxi Driver. More than the expression being straightforward or big, I like acting that is unique and sensitive. Instead of being excessive, I wanted to be moderate and minimal.”
T.O.P received the Rookie Award as the only Korean actor to win at the Asia Star Awards during the Busan International Film Festival on October 5, raising anticipation for the movie.
Meanwhile, The Commitment will premiere on November 6.
