Infinite Performs ‘Request’ For the First Time in Bangkok
Giving a special treat to the fans in Thailand, Infinite performed its newest song Request for the first time.
On September 28, Infinite held its 2013 Infinite One Great Step concert, part of the Samsung Galaxy Music Tour at the Thunder Dome in Bangkok.
With 4,500 seats sold out, Infinite was greeted warmly, which the group repaid with the first live performance of Request, which came out on September 27.
“We have a special present for the Thai fans,” said the Infinite members. “We’ll be showing a never-before-seen performance for you all.”
The music began to play and the fans exploded, surprising even the staff involved with the concert.
Infinite showcased its newest dance, ‘The Gear Dance,’ a movement where you look at your Galaxy Gear, Samsung’s newest smart watch.
“Despite it being a new song, fans sang along to Request as if it was one of Infinite’s many hit songs,” said a concert organizer. “It was a moment when we witnessed the popularity of Infinite and its new song with a foreign audience.”
Infinite’s new song, Request is a collaborative project between Samsung Electornics and Woollim Entertainment. It came out three months after the release of Infinite’s second single album in July.
Request is about a about a man’s pain after losing out on a great opportunity and seeing the woman of his dreams with another man. It is also the brand song of the Samsung Galaxy series.
