Always striving to bring something new to the table, Big Bang G-Dragon’s second album, Coup d’Etat will be reborn as a LP record.

On September 29, YG Entertainment announced, “G-Dragon’s 2nd official album, Coup d’Etat LP record will be released on October 18.” This will be the second LP record release since the overseas limited edition of One of a Kind.

This album will be released in the amount of his lucky number, 8, only producing 8,888 copies. The LP record outboxes will especially have G-Dragon personally writing the numbers 1 to 8,888.

Using a new master tape, G-Dragon’s second album songs will feel more vivid with the original sounds intact. The master cutting especially took place at the MMP Master Media Productions GmbH., considered the best in LP mastering, located in Germany. The album took special consideration to keep the best quality of sound with the DMM cutting.

The album will also include a handwritten lyric book, a badge, mask, and other unique items to fit the concept. Other special features are images of the original album as well as photos from G-Dragon’s gallery, and never-before-seen cuts from the Coup d’Etat music video.

The pre-orders for the LP album will start on September 30.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon decorated the music charts with the nine tracks off his album and won number one with four of them in music programs. People are anticipating what kind of records the LP album will set.
