Lee Seung Gi Slips into a Wetsuit for ‘The King 2Hearts’
Still photos of Lee Seung Gi in a wetsuit for the upcoming third episode of MBC drama The King 2Hearts have been released.
Lee is seen in a black rash guard, a type of water gear designed specifically to block out sunlight and harmful UV rays, that accentuates his statuesque figure. The actor reportedly overwhelmed everyone on set for the scene, which was shot at a swimming pool on February 25, turning heads with his tough masculine appeal.
A representative from Kim Jong Hak Production said, “Lee Seung Gi is portraying the sneaky and audacious Lee Jae Ha character perfectly.” The rep continued, “The staff receives strength from Lee Seung Gi, who always comes to the set with a huge smile on his face. Anticipate great things from Lee Seung Gi, who is passionately doing his best, and his acting transformation.”
The King 2Hearts is set in a fictional modern-day Korea ruled under a constitutional monarchy and is centered on Lee’s character, Lee Jae Ha, Korea’s crown prince, and Ha Ji Won’s character, Kim Hang Ah, a North Korean Special Forces Unit drill instructor.
