We Got Married is coming back with a new format.

On September 11, MBC’s We Got Married held a press conference at the Ilsan MBC Dream Center, where the Jung Joon Young and Jeong Yumi, Yoon Han, and Son Na Eun attended, along with the staff.

On this day, Sun Hye Yoon PD, who is new to We Got Married honestly stated, “We met over 20 people and decided to choose [the new couples] because of their sincerity. The reason why We Got Married became boring was because it lacked in sincerity. Because it was all based on events and dates, sincerity fell.”

“The concept of the casting this time around was to see how sincere they can be to each other, how seriously they took marriage or dating, and how much they could express themselves without any embellishment,” said Sun PD.

On the newly selected couples, Sun PD said, “I selected Yoon Han and Lee So Yeon feeling like I was a match making company. They matched so well with each other that I hoped they would just get married.”

“Jeong Yumi and Jung Joon Young appear like they have an age gap between and seem like they won’t get along, but the two strangely match each other well. I also hope that they really date each other through this broadcast.”

Meanwhile, Jo Jung Chi, Jung In, 2AM’s Jung Jin Woo, and Go Joon Hee left We Got Married with the entrance of Jung Joon Young, Jeong Yumi, Yoon Han, and Lee So Yeon.

MBC said, “With the new couples, we will show the marriage that most women dream of.”
