CN Blue, Kara and B1A4 Appear on the Oricon
Korean groups are dominating Japanese charts once again.
According to the Oricon Charts for August 28, CN Blue′s second studio album What Turns You On sold a total of 27,000 copies on its first day, taking the no. 2 spot on the Daily Album Chart.
Kara followed at no. 3, while B1A4 appeared at no. 2 on the Daily Singles Chart.
CN Blue′s new album contains a total of 11 tracks, including seven of Jung Yong Hwa′s self-written tracks such as One More Time, Change and Let Me Know, along with four tracks written by Lee Jong Hyun including Crying Out and I Can′t Believe.
The limited edition contains an extra track, the English version of Robot, written by Jung Yong Hwa.
Kara followed the band closely at no. 3 with its fourth studio album Fantastic Girls, while B1A4 landed on no. 2 on the Daily Singles Chart by selling 25,705 copies of its third Japanese single album What′s Happening?.
The single album contains the Japanese version of What′s Happening?, released in Korea to explosive popularity. It is a dance track about how a boy is sad about his girlfriend seeing another man. Member Jin Young wrote the lyrics.
It also holds a track titled In the Air. The album was released in three editions.
CN Blue will be continuing on its world tour come September, while B1A4 will continue to tour Japan for its B1A4 Live Tour 2013 in Japan. Kara will soon be releasing another new album in Korea.
