E-Sens Releases Diss Track Concerning Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko and Amoeba Culture
Now free to produce the music he desires, former Supreme Team member, E-Sens is now attracting attention with his most recent release – a diss track concerning his former company, Amoeba Culture.
On August 23, E-Sens posted on his SoundCloud a song titled You Can’t Control Me. The lyrics talks about how hip-hop in Korea is slowly dying out with companies trying to control what a rapper says.
“The company cuts off my legs and gives me crutches. They with their noses up high say it’s because of them that I’m able to walk. If I listen, they’ll give me a wheelchair. My life that you were all trying to sell, I’m not going to give in easily. My boss is me.”
E-Sens also directly addressed Amoeba Culture, saying, “Give you a billion won? Amoeba Culture, kiss my a**. The media play that you’re good at, you’ll do it again. You’ll probably describe me as an ungrateful bastard. I’m no.1. If you can’t accept it, then let’s talk as MCs. Don’t go crying to your sister.”
The song criticizes Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, saying, “Listen to this and answer me, Gaeko. Just like how you’ve treated me in the past five years, don’t run away. Your last respect for me, I’ve already rejected it, so a battle between soldier to soldier.”
It continues, “You pretend to be a good person. F*ck that. Even if you have to speak dirty, be more honest. The cheapest person here is you. The more I think about it, I was just Dynamic Duo’s temporary replacement. You used your junior’s respect – please explain it to me.”
In a phone call with eNEWS, Amoeba Culture said, “We heard that E-Sens revealed a song that dissed our company and Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko. Due to schedules all night, we weren’t able to listen to the song yet. We’ll officially make a statement after checking it.”
E-Sens left Amoeba Culture in July. The reason behind the cancellation has not be revealed. Simon D previously stated on his Twitter that he respects E-Sens’ decision and hopes E-Sens can be happy.
