From the billowy, striped maxi skirt to the crisp white button-up and Escada trench coat, the understatedly neutral pieces she wears in each cut let the reader know that the actress’ bold cropped hairstyle is the centerpiece of the spread.

E Jiah opened up about her rollercoaster year in the accompanying interview, addressing the flurry of rumors that stemmed from her very public legal dispute with ex-husband Seo Taiji and talking about what it felt like to suddenly find herself engulfed in controversy.

“When people approached me, I would first take two steps back,” said E Jiah. “Because when they asked me questions, I didn’t have very many answers. I’m not used to lying or hiding things, so I only knew how to step back and distance myself.

However, the weight appears to have been lifted from the shoulders of the actress who is currently taking a break since wrapping up MBC drama Me Too, Flower! and even drove herself to the studio for the photo shoot.

The actress also revealed that she prefers staying in over going out and is no longer afraid of doing things by herself.

She concluded by saying, “I think the most important thing in life is to just ‘Be yourself.’” Because for a while, I had forgotten what a comfortable and happy thing it is to just be myself. Something so obvious became something so special and something I appreciated.”
