Passionate Love will be a drama about how the three come to meet a tragedy due to their parents, and escape their dreary surroundings to succeed. Its setting will stretch across 10 years, and its story is known to be tightknit.

Sung Hoon will appear as Kang Moo Yeol, a rich boy who, despite having all the money he could want, lives in an unhappy family and loses a loved one.

Nam Gung Min will be Kang Soo Hyuk, a man who used to be a model student but one day finds out he is half-brothers with Moo Yeol. His mother was a concubine. Though known for his gentle roles, this time Nam Gung Min will aim to put on a different act as a man who suffers from inner conflict.

Choi Yoon Young will be loved by the two menas Han Yoo Jung. She is diligent and bright, and very independent.

The drama official added, "Sung Hoon has a delinquent image, Nam Gung Min seems neat and Choi Yoon Young shines with bright energy; they seem to fit their roles perfectly. There was some talk about cancelling the weekend drama genre altogether after the conclusion of Wonderful Mama, but we expect Passionate Love to bring SBS weekend dramas to life again."

Passionate Love will air in October.
