B2ST’s Yang Yo Seop and A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji released their duet single Love Day on March 14. As soon as the single was released, it managed to top the charts in Bugs and Cyworld Music and soared into the top ranks of Melon, Mnet and Soribada.

Some fans are looking forward to seeing the duo, comprised of members from Cube-affiliated agencies, become the next Trouble Maker, the first successful Cube performance unit.

Speculations also grew when a rep of Cube Entertainment was quoted to have said that they were “planning to put together a follow-up unit to Trouble Maker.”

Will Yo Seop & Eun Ji Become the Next Trouble Maker?

Hyun Seung and Hyuna’s Trouble Maker and Yo Seop and Eun Ji’s duet, however, come from completely different places.

Love Day was produced as a part of A-Cube’s project ‘A Cube for Season’, and is more of a one-time event single rather than an official unit promotional single; therefore, there are no plans to put the Love Day duet onstage like Trouble Maker.

A rep from Cube said, “B2ST is currently busy with its world tour Beautiful Show. It’ll be difficult to put the duet onstage.”

An official from A-Cube also added, “It would be good if they had the chance, but there are no plans as of yet. ‘A Cube for Season’ is an exclusive A-Cube project that will release event singles every season with A-Cube singers and singers from other agencies."

Cube Entertainment currently holds B2ST, 4Minute and G.Na, while A-Cube holds Huh Gak, A Pink and Mario. Cube DC, a sub-label of Cube, will soon be debuting its seven member boy group BTOB on March 22.
