Super Junior Performs Before 20,000 in Thailand for ′Super Show 5′
Super Junior′s Super Show 5 landed this time in Thailand.
From August 3-4, the group held its Super Junior World Tour ′Super Show 5′ in Bangkok, getting its 20,000 audience to jump out of their seats and scream as loud as they could.
The group has been holding exclusive concerts in the country with every one of its tours since 2008, and holds the record for biggest audience for a Korean concert with about 130,000 across 10 concerts.
Super Junior sang its hits Sorry Sorry, Bonamana, Mr. Simple, Sexy, Free & Single and more, performing a total of 26 songs and conversing with fans in Thai.
Henry especially surprised by performing Trap with Kyuhyun for the first time in Thailand.
Fans showed they had definitely enjoyed the concert, holding up slogans reading ′Thank you Kangin′ for the member who hadn′t been able to visit Thailand for a while.
A press conference was held before the concert for August 4, and over 100 journalists from the Daily News, Thai Rath, Ch. 3 and other outlets fought for coverage, showing outside of the concert just how much attention the group was receiving from the country.
Super Junior will next perform in Taiwan from August 10-12.
