Director Shin commended Lee and said, "[Lee is] a smart actor. He clearly understands what the director wants and cleverly combines his own interpretation into his acting."

In fact, there are rumors that Lee′s hard working attitude and acting ability were also recognized by the production staff.

According to one staff member, Lee constantly reads his script while moving to different locations on set and is the type to endlessly research his character to better immerse himself into his role.

In the drama, Lee′s character (Song Man Bo) is a genius with an uncanny ability for recalling words, numbers and images. He serves as the guide to the crown prince Lee Gak with his encyclopedic knowledge and photographic memory.

Previously, Lee appeared as young Prince Yang Myung (played by Jung Il Woo) in The Sun and The Moon, igniting his ′flower bachelor′ popularity, and is hoping to find the same success in Rooftop Prince.

The season premiere of the Rooftop Prince will air on March 21.
