SISTAR’s Hyolyn Apologizes for Having a Straight Face at Fansigning
After being unable to put a smile on her face, SISTAR’s Hyolyn apologized to fans about the grave look she had on during a fansigning.
On July 16, Hyolyn left a long letter of apology through the official SISTAR Twitter.
She wrote that she was apologetic about disappointing fans at a recent fansigning.
“I actually had a great time with fans there,” said Hyolyn. “But the way I acted openly in front of the fans, I believe it was enough to cause misunderstandings.”
“I’ll make sure not to cause any disappointment in the future. I’ll be harder working Hyolyn.”
The issue arose when a fancam from the fanmeeting on July 13 showed Hyolyn lacking in expression during the event. She said that she had just woken up in the car and was just a bit distorted.
“I’m not in a bad mood, so don’t misunderstand,” said Hyolyn at the fanmeeting. “Don’t worry about our expressions, since a person can’t be smiling all 365 days, right? There are times when a person might not have an expression. I’m not in a bad mood. I just don’t have a expression today.”
Despite Hyolyn’s explanation, her lack of expression was enough to upset some fans, who purchased albums to attend the fansigning and waited for SISTAR to arrive.
