On July 15, Mnet’s The Beatles Code broadcasted unaired footage from past episodes, including MBLAQs, where the members talked about how they became singers.

When MC Shindong mentioned that the MBLAQ members were ′parachutes′ – people who get into a business through connections, and MBLAQ didn’t deny it.

Cheongdung said that he got into the group because one member left MBLAQ after news of its debut already spread. Seungho, who is Rain’s hoobae from Anyang Performing Arts High School, added that he came into school ties. Lee Joon followed his friend to an audition and got scouted instead.

“I saw on the internet that Rain was making a group called MBALQ, so I went to audition and made it.”
