The chosen one? Lee Chung Ah, who made appearances KBS2’s drama, The Accidental Couple and the film The Good, the Bad and the Weird.

The drama, slated to broadcast at the end of October, is a romantic comedy centered on a girl who owns a ramen shop, and the two charming and handsome guys who will fight over her.

Lee Chung Ah will take on the role of Yang Eun Bi, a 25-year-old college girl who is preparing for teacher certification examination. She wins the hearts of both Jung Il Woo’s character, a standoffish and cool prince, and Lee Ki Woo’s character, a warmhearted and unpredictable genius chef.

Though it sounds fairly generic (love triangle, cool, but good-looking guy, and a nice genius), somehow we’re willing to bet that the drama will still drag in loyal fans. Hey, the formula has proven to be a golden standard in the industry.

“Reading the scripts of Flower Boy Ramen Shop reminded me of the movie Temptation of Wolves. Above all, I’m mesmerized with the character Yang Eun Bi,” said Lee Chung Ah. “In the movie Temptation of Wolves, I was worked with actors older than me, but this time I’m going to keep in tune with actors younger than me.”

She added, “I’m so happy to work with talented actors like Jung Il Woo and Lee Ki Woo. I’ll do my best to leave a new and fresh impression on the audience’s minds with a genuine performance that can be shared with viewers while delivering cheerful and vivacious feelings.
