Lee Min Ho Reveals Park Yoo Chun′s Comfortable Side in ′Rooftop Prince′
Actor Lee Min Ho revealed his thoughts on working with Park Yoo Chun and his other costars in the Rooftop Prince. According to Lee, Park may be a top star but he sure knows how to make his costars feel comfortable.
Lee shared his thoughts with reporters during the interview that was held after the official press conference for SBS′ new drama Rooftop Prince in Jamsil Lotte Hotel on March 5. Lee will work with Park, Jung Seok Won, and Choi Woo Sik, forming the ′4 Flower Boys′ in the drama.
Lee said, "I was quite nervous when the four of us first met for the initial script reading. I thought to myself, ′Isn′t Yoo Chun hyung a top star?′ I thought it would be difficult to approach him and even Jung Seok Won hyung was full of charisma as well. Moreover, as the youngest in the group I was full of nerves."
He added, "However, they were very different from my initial expectations and made me feel at ease. In fact, it was hard to notice Yoo Chun hyung was a top star at times. Sometimes he would make a humorless joke and made us feel very comfortable around him, making it possible for us to have a harmonious time during the production of the drama."
In Rooftop Prince, Lee will appear in his second historical drama following his role in MBC′s The Sun and the Moon and compared the two by saying, "If the The Sun and the Moon was filled with action and romance, comedy will be a big part of the Rooftop Prince. During the production of Rooftop Prince, I experienced the comical elements that I didn′t notice while filming for The Sun and the Moon and enjoyed filming for the production."
The season premiere of Rooftop Prince will air on March 14 and tells the story of a prince (Lee Gak), who has to time-travel 300 years to the 21st century in Seoul to find his true love. The all-star cast is led by Park Yoo Chun and Han Ji Min, and also includes Jung Yu Mi, Lee Min Ho and Lee Tae Sung.
