During the interview, Park talked about the differences between The Sun and the Moon and the Rooftop Prince and said, "I am envious of The Sun and the Moon′s impressive viewership ratings. However, I don′t feel any pressure (to replicate their success)."

He added, "Of course, I would love to see the Rooftop Prince do well, as many people have put in a lot of hard work into the production."

On taking on his second role in a historical drama since Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Park added, "The two characters are very different from each other; one is a scholar while the other is a crown prince. Furthermore, the tone and philosophy of the two characters will be quite different and will only be magnified as the drama unfolds."

Lastly, Park concluded, "The three new dramas will make their season premieres on the 14th. It′s not a big issue for me. However, I believe the comic parts of our drama will attract the interest of many viewers."

The season premiere of Rooftop Prince will air on March 14 and tells the story of a prince (Lee Gak), who has to time-travel 300 years to the 21st century in Seoul to find his true love. The all-star cast is led by Park Yoo Chun and Han Ji Min, and also includes Jung Yu Mi, Lee Min Ho and Lee Tae Sung.
