The ‘Adam Couple’ may have retired from TV, but fans of Jo Kwon and Gain are still all about sharing the love.

The Wooyang Foundation, a charity that helps those facing issues of hunger, loneliness and discrimination, recently revealed that the fan club for Jo Kwon and Gain, also known as the ‘Adam Couple’ from MBC’s popular reality program We Got Married has donated 300 sacks of rice, weighing a total of three tons.

Wooyang revealed on March 5 that it had received 300 sacks of rice, weighing 10 kilograms each, on March 2 from ‘Adaness,’ the ‘Adam Couple’s’ official fan club. A ‘rice distribution’ event was held on March 6, where the rice was handed out to over 230 elderly citizens living in solitude by the fan club members and Wooyang.

Following the rice distribution, Noh Hee Jang, the head of Wooyang’s sponsorship team said, “The interest in celebrities extended over into helping those in need around us, making this event possible. I hope that through this event our society will establish a culture that distributes in diverse ways.”

The ‘Adaness’ fan club is made up of more than 3800 members and donates the money they collect to charity every year.
