TVXQ (DBSK) stepped outside of its usual stops, landing a successful concert in L.A.

On July 5 (local time), TVXQ held its TVXQ! Live World Tour - Catch Me concert in the city. 7,000 fans were there to see the group perform in its first exclusive concert on U.S. soil.

At the Nokia Theater, which previously hosted concerts by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ne-Yo and Enrique Iglesias, TVXQ performed its hits Catch Me, Rising Sun, Why, Mirotic and Before U Go, and put on solo performances of Honey Funny Bunny and Maxwell′s Whenever Wherever Whatever. The duo performed a total of 25 songs.

After the opening, Max Changmin said onstage, "For our fans in the U.S., who have waited 10 years to see TVXQ′s concert, we′ll make sure to put on a show that will compensate for your 10-year wait tonight."

The concert drew fans not only from around the country, but also from neighboring countries such as Canada and Mexico, especially because the show coincided with Fourth of July holidays.

U-know Yunho said after the concert, "I was surprised because there were so many fans in their 50s and 60s. I was also surprised at the passionate reactions. Tonight, the night when we were together here at our first concert in America, is a special night. I don′t think I′ll ever forget today′s show."
