Lee Hyori Wanted Make S.E.S to Slip on Stage with Fake Snow
Admitting to her jealousy back in the day, Lee Hyori revealed a story from the past with her group’s rival, S.E.S.
In a recent recording of StoryOn’s Story On Women’s Show, Lee Hyori appeared as a guest, where she talked about Fin.K.L and S.E.S.
With S.E.S’ popularity soaring high, Lee Hyori admitted that she was very jealous of the group’s success.
“It was impossible not to feel jealous at that young age,” said Lee Hyori, before officially getting into her story.
“When S.E.S was on stage, they used a lot of bubbles, and many times, the Fin.K.L. members slipped because of it,” explained Lee Hyori. “So I was waiting for an opportunity to come around, and it finally came during our White promotions. It was a winter song and our props were snow sprays.”
Lee Hyori added that when she checked that S.E.S would be performing after Fin.K.L, she asked the dancers to spray a lot of snow on the stage.
“The dancers sprayed so much that the fake snow ended up going into our eyes and mouths, and sometimes our faces weren’t even shown on screen because of all the snow, but when S.E.S got on the stage next, they did so well.”
The episode will air on July 2.
