2PM Says It Learned a Lot During Promotions from Shinhwa
2PM said it learned why Shinhwa is Shinhwa while promoting with the group and talked of how it hopes it will also be like their seniors 10 to 20 years from now.
On June 22, just before its concert, 2PM spoke to the press at a press conference.
Before its concert, 2PM promoted its third studio album Grown in Korea. During its promotions, it got to meet Shinhwa, who were also promoting for its 11th studio album at the time.
Jun.K commented, "The Shinhwa hyungss (big brothers) really take good care of their juniors. They′re very kind, and they approach us first. It′s probably not easy [for seniors like them] to approach juniors, but they welcome juniors and give them support; I always feel I have a lot to learn from them."
Junho said, "I learned why Shinhwa is Shinhwa. We have a lot to learn from them, even for performances onstage."
He then added, "I hope 10, 20 years from now 2PM will still be where it is now. I learned during our promotions that it′s not easy to last long like the Shinhwa sunbaenims (seniors). I hope 10, 20 years from now, 2PM will also be singing onstage with music that fits its age."
2PM wrapped up its Asia tour with the concert held this day. The members will continue with solo promotions.
