SHINee’s first Japanese studio album The First was released in Korea on February 29.

The album contains many of SHINee’s original hits along with new tracks, so it will be a great chance for music fans to see what the group’s debut in Japan, which took place in June 2011, was like.

The album was released in two versions, one of which contains a supplementary DVD, and contains 12 songs including the new singles Better, To Your Heart and Always Love and the group’s original hits such as Replay-You’re My Everything, Juliette and Lucifer.

The DVD contains videos of SHINee’s Japan debut showcase held in London on June 2011, and performances and interview videos of SHInee’s live events that started in Fukuoka the next month and continued through five more areas in Japan.

The CD version contains the bonus track Stranger, the theme song of the Korea-China-Japan co-produced drama Stranger6.

In the meantime, SHINee plans to continue on its Japan ventures from April 25 with its first Arena Tour in seven Japanese cities, SHINee World 2012, starting in Fukuoka.
