Although always bright and happy, After School’s Lizzy revealed that she fell into depression after leaving SBS’ Running Man.

On June 19, Lizzy appeared on MBC’s Radio Star, where she talked about the hardest time in her career.

“I went on Running Man as a guest once, and I guess I did well, because I became a permanent member,” said Lizzy. “But because of this and that, I was edited out a lot, and so articles said I wasn’t a permanent member, but a long-term guest.”

When people asked if she was cut from the show later, Lizzy used to say that she left the show voluntarily to focus on her sitcom.

“I struggled a lot then but now I’m okay. Time is medicine,” said Lizzy. She also added that if Running Man asked her to come back, she would go in a heartbeat.

“When Yoo Jae Suk oppa won at the award show, he said my name in the speech, and all the things I was upset about went away.”
