Kara′s Goo Hara to Appear as Cameo in Japanese Drama ′Galileo′
Goo Hara will continue on her acting streak, as she will cameo for a popular Japanese drama.
The singer recently finished shooting for the final episode of the Fuji TV drama Galileo. In the episode, Goo Hara appears as Yeon Ah, a worker at the company in which the events of the episode occur. She will appear in a short scene in which she tries to help the investigations of the main female lead, Yuriko Yoshitaka.
Goo Hara was offered a role after she sang for the drama′s OST. She joined together with Japanese actor and singer-songwriter Masaharu Fukuyama in the project group Hara+ and sang the Korean version of an OST piece titled The Spell of Love.
Galileo is a highly popular drama that boasts viewership ratings in the 20 percent range. Goo Hara will be the first foreign guest to appear in it.
The producer of Galileo commented, "We′re honored to have Goo Hara, a big star of Asia, join the Galileo family. We want to thank her for appearing in the drama as a special guest despite her busy schedule," while Goo Hara answered, "It was a short scene, but it was fun to act in."
The episode featuring Goo Hara will air on June 17.
