BoA Tears Up at Her First Concert in Taiwan
BoA shed tears of happiness following a successful concert in Taiwan.
On May 18, BoA held her BoA Special Live 2013 - Here I Am in Taipei. She filled the stage with her explosive vocals, charismatic performances and beautiful stage manners, entertaining 3,000 fans in total.
The concert especially drew interest for being the first by the singer in the country. Fans and press promptly crowded the airport to welcome her to the country on May 17, proving the influence the singer enjoys among the locals.
BoA sang a total of 23 songs from her albums released in Korea, America and Japan to live accompaniment. The songs ranged from acoustic ballads to powerful rock and more.
Her audience also took it into its hands to answer her passion onstage. As soon as the performance for Implode started up, members of the audience held up placards reading ′B♡A′, while for No. 1 they all held up slogans reading ′So touching′ and ′Please cry for us~′, succeeding in drawing tears from the singer.
BoA commented, "I′ve been to Taiwan many times before, but it feels different to be here for an exclusive concert. I was so touched at the special event put together by my fans in Taiwan. Thank you for the support, and I′ll return next time with a greater performance."
BoA will next return to Korea to hold concerts in Daegu and Busan on May 25 and June 1.
