The actress sports a variety of looks for the shoot, but the spread is held together by a neutral color palette. Kim’s unkempt hairstyle also serves to balance out the structured designs she models for the spread.

In one cut, a bold, metal headpiece gives the actress’ simple, off-white one-piece an edgy twist, while Kim plays it coy in a black leather for another cut.

She glams it up in a killer body suit and a pair of heels inspired by vintage cars before proving that fashion rules are meant to be broken, pairing a floral shirt with matching pants in another photo.

While the spread serves to highlight the actress’ style icon-status sensibilities, the corresponding interview focuses on Kim’s acting.

“Acting is like traveling in that I live a different life then return to my own life,” said the actress. “It’s like being in a dreamy state. Should I say it’s like waking up from a pleasant dream? When I wake up from the dream, I become my real self again.”

Kim, who stars in upcoming film Train, also said, “I have to fall in love with the character when I read the script. Even if the work is entertaining, if the character is flat, I don’t care for it. Sun Young was an appealing character because the breadth of her transformation was so wide. I think the breadth of my acting will similarly widen.”

She concluded the interview by saying “Happiness is closer to you than you think. I try to look for happiness within my skill set and in what I have. People tend not to look at what they have and desire more. You can be happy if you let go of your greed.”
