[Star of the Week] The Unique Ways 2PM Busts-A-Move
Aside from its singing and rapping, 2PM has always been known for its performances with its intricate and headline making choreography. There’s always been a bit of JYP (Park Jin Young) flavor in these dances, but 2PM manages to pull them off without looking like complete fools.
And now that 2PM is back with the ‘gimme gimme’ dance in Comeback When You Hear This Song, we’ll be blasting back into the past to check out all of 2PM’s notable dances that swept the nation right off its feet.
10 Points Out of 10
Watching this video now just makes us realize how much they’ve Grown. (Haha)
As fresh faces in the game in 2008, 2PM stood out from the rookie pool with the comical and acrobatic choreography, especially the ′10 out of 10′ move that had us all giving double high-fives to our friends.
Again & Again
There were so many good ones in this song, starting off from the trademark gliding in place to Nichkhun’s ‘my heart hurts’ moves. Other honorable mentions go to the ‘I’m crazy,’ ‘I have a headache,’ and the Egyptian hieroglyphs dances.
And of course, the acrobatic acts were still there, because apparently 2PM is capable of human flight.
2PM almost stopped heartbeats with this song and concept. Dressed in neat suits with their hair slicked back and looking like hot vampires, the members reminded us how a heart beats while playing marionette with each other.
Not only were the zombie walks super charismatic, the move that will forever linger in our heads is the cheerleading pyramid at the end.
Oh, and how can we forget the shirt ripping, ab-baring by Taecyeon on special occasions?
I’ll Be Back
The Hands Up choreography is like an upgrade on Again & Again’s gliding in place – this time, they hop in place.
But the highlight of this dance would be the ‘I’ll be back’ Terminator thumbs up bit,
Arnold Swarzenegger would be proud.
What are some of your favorite dance moves by 2PM?
