Prosecution said this day, "Kim Yong Man has admitted to all his charges, has committed no previous crimes and knows where his faults lie. Despite this, however, the amount of money involved in the case is extraordinary, leading us to demand a jail sentence of a year."

On this, Kim Yong Man′s attorney demanded favorable treatment, saying, "Kim Yong Man has admitted to his faults and feels deep regret. He stopped gambling on his own about two years ago, and the amount of money he used to gamble online falls short of 1.3 billion won."

Kim Yong Man himself said in tears, "I′ve caused trouble for those who cared for me. I put my lovely family in pain. I regret my actions deeply."

Kim Yong Man was charged for gambling about 1.3 billion won online from January 2008 to May 2011. He was subsequently led to leave the four shows he hosted as an MC.

His sentence will be handed down at the final trial to be held on May 23.
