On May 5’s broadcast of Running Man, socialtainer and actor, Cha In Pyo appeared as a guest with actor Ricky Kim and basketball player Seo Jang Hoon. Just in time for Children’s Day (May 5), the cast and guests decided to partake in the ‘Donation Angel Race,’ where they would donate 1000 pairs of shoes to children who need them.

At the beginning of the race, Cha In Pyo ran into Gary, Kim Jong Kook, and Lee Kwang Soo. As he greeted the casts, Cha In Pyo added, “Gary sent me clothes to send to people in Africa. He sent so many cars [with clothes] to my house…”

Feeling a bit embarrassed that his good deed was now out in the open, Gary bowed his head and began to excuse himself from the scene.

The secret deed not only surprised the Running Man casts, but also the netizens, who quickly commented following the broadcast, “It’s beautiful that he was secretly donating,” “I seriously want Kang Gary,” and “I didn’t think Gary would do something like that.”
